Engaged and tracked Priority 1 issues, with responsibility for the timely documentation, escalation (if appropriate), resolution and closure of trouble tickets.  Was tasked for tracking of all lifecycle equipment and making sure the equipment was replaced with up to date equipment at the end of their lifecycle.  Was also tasked with assigning and tracking of systems through MAC address, system type, IP Address, and system name.  Took charge of up to 12 personnel assigning tasks, directing traffic, and receiving reports to send up to higher echelon.

 

50th Signal Battalion – Al-Asad, Iraq

·                Domain Administrator, (2009 to 2010) Performed setup and maintenance of servers and workstations within the CENTCOM MNF-I West domain to include assigning IP Scopes and reserving system names and IP's for domain connection. Was also in charge of the Help Desk personnel to include 4 military and 8 civilian employee's by making sure that trouble-tickets were being resolved and/or escalated when needed.  Was responsible for pushing system patches across the network through WSUS and GFI Languard and migrating user email accounts from Exchange 2003 to Exchange 2007 using Powershell and the Exchange User Mailbox GUI.

·                           Automations Support, (2008 to 2009) Performed various tasks with graphic design and sound system support for ceremonial events and other related activities. Worked entry level position within our IT Shop performing basic troubleshooting, submitting support tickets through BMC Remedy software, and tracking the support tickets until a resolution was in place and implemented.

 

327th Signal Battalion – Fort Bragg, NC

·               Base Band Node Operator (2006 to 2008) Performed technical troubleshooting within a tactical network to include providing internet and telephone connections to our tactical subscribers by use of Promina 800 networks, VoIP, VoSIP, Satellite Link and Line of Site Radio communications.  Also monitored network usage and availability over Solaris.
